1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Commit Golf. By accessing or using the Commit Golf mobile application, website at commitgolf.app, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf before you may use the Service.
2. Eligibility
To use Commit Golf, you must:
Be at least 13 years old
Provide accurate and complete account information
Use the platform for lawful purposes only
Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these eligibility requirements or any other provision of these Terms.
Users under 13 are prohibited from using the Service. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without proper parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
3. Account Responsibility
When you create an account with Commit Golf, you are responsible for:
Maintaining login security – Keep your password confidential and do not share your account credentials
All activity under your account – You are liable for all actions taken using your account, whether authorized by you or not
Keeping your information accurate – Update your profile information as needed to ensure it remains current and correct
Notifying us immediately – If you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches
You may not transfer, sell, or share your account with others. Commit Athletics LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
4. User Content
A. Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including but not limited to:
Performance statistics and data
Posts and updates
Messages and communications
Photos, videos, and other media
Training logs and notes
B. License to Commit Golf
By submitting content to the Service, you grant Commit Athletics LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Display your content within the app to authorized users (coaches, teammates, etc.)
Store and back up your content on our servers
Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services
Process your content as necessary to provide the Service
This license exists only for the purpose of operating and improving Commit Golf. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for advertising or sell it to third parties.
C. Prohibited Content
You may not post or transmit content that:
Contains harassment, bullying, or threats toward any individual
Includes hate speech or discriminatory language
Violates any law or regulation
Contains false or misleading recruiting claims
Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
Is sexually explicit or inappropriate for a youth sports platform
We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion and may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our content policies.
5. Team & Coach Interactions
Commit Golf is a performance tracking and team management platform designed to facilitate communication between coaches and players.
Important Disclaimers
We do not guarantee and are not responsible for:
College or professional recruiting outcomes
Team selection or roster decisions
Athletic performance improvement or results
Scholarship offers or financial aid
The quality, accuracy, or effectiveness of coaching provided by users
All recruiting decisions, team selections, and coaching relationships are made independently by coaches, institutions, and individual users. Commit Golf serves only as a platform to facilitate these interactions.
User Verification
While we may implement verification features, we do not guarantee the identity, credentials, or qualifications of any user. Users should exercise their own judgment when interacting with coaches and other users.
6. Prohibited Conduct
In addition to content restrictions, you may not:
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of the Service
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or copy data from the Service
Impersonate another person or entity
Use the Service for unauthorized commercial solicitation or spam
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Interfere with other users' access to or enjoyment of the Service
Collect personal information about other users without consent
Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers
Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and we may report illegal activities to law enforcement.
7. Termination
A. Termination by Commit Golf
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:
Violating these Terms of Service
Safety or security concerns
Fraudulent or deceptive behavior
Prolonged inactivity
Any other reason at our sole discretion
B. Termination by User
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@commitgolf.app or through the app's account settings.
C. Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
Your access to the Service will be immediately revoked
Your data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
These Terms will continue to apply to any past use of the Service
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Commit Golf is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Commit Athletics LLC disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of user-submitted data
Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Warranties regarding recruiting results, athletic performance, or team selection
Your use of the Service is at your own risk. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Commit Athletics LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Loss of recruiting opportunities or scholarship offers
Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of the Service
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
A. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
B. Venue
Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Larimer County, Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
C. Dispute Resolution
Before filing any legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at support@commitgolf.app.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:
Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
Post the revised Terms on this page
Notify you via email or in-app notification for material changes
Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
